Two More Galaxies

I observed M106 and M108, two spiral galaxies. It was a full moon and partly cloudy so it was a tough night.

I also experimented with wide-field shots with a point-and-shoot, but the small glass and 15 second exposure limit led to grainy results. It doesn’t support external power so stacking images for a longer exposure would eat through batteries too quickly.

And finally, I got a fun shot with my all-sky lens. Venus is the bright point on the left, and the Pleiades are visible just to the right if you zoom in close.
